Welcome! This is just an intro video. Here's the script if, for whatever unfathomable reason, you want it:

One of the many and truly ghastly things about Imperialism and Colonialism is that this Colonial Outcasts Channel will literally never run out of topics to discuss on the matter.

From the genocides in Palestine and Congo to police brutality in the United States, the struggle against state violence and oppression may have varying degrees of severity, but it is all connected.

This is why we say the only liberation is collective liberation, and the first step towards that goal comes through knowledge - understanding the history, the parallels and divergences between movements, and how these imperialist systems work and exert hegemonic power throughout the globe.

This all started with me trying to explain these very expansive yet simple concepts to my hopeless uncle - we all have 'em - during Israel's genocidal campaign in Gaza, and that snowballed into a social media page which spiraled into this whole thing -

a burgeoning platform where we cover breaking news from a geo-political angle, and offer astute commentary, if I do say so myself, through a military, sociological, philosophical, all of the -ological lenses in order to get the overriding point across - Imperialism is bad, y'all, and here's how to challenge it.

So We're a nascent project, we will expand the staff and roster of contributors eventually, but in the meantime come along for the ride - I'm not sure what every individual will get out of it, but I can promise you this: it won't be completely boring.
