as posted by the channelI rounded a corner and three men were running the trench with a PKM — I just opened up. If I had come around that corner without the lessons taught beforehand, I would have been exposed to an open-bolt weapons system. The Taliban earned credit for their ability to find, fix and flank us — they even put mortar rounds on a support-by-fire position to displace us ahead of an ambush. They watched us during the day and fought with tactical discipline. In the end I fired into the trench, pulled back and got into the vehicle. Moments like this show how quickly close-combat situations evolve and why situational awareness matters. 🎯🌊🚁🔥
