West Virginia University wants to punish its students for referring to someone by the wrong gender pronoun. And they’ve re-interpreted a federal statute to do it, too! WVU’s Title IX office is telling students that federal law guarantees “the right to be called by the name and pronouns consistent with your gender identity.” This includes "gender-neutral" pronouns like ve, or vir. Seriously.
