YouTube Description
as posted by the channelIn this episode of Conspiracy Theories, Cults, & Crimes, Vanessa Richardson dives into one of Europe's oldest and most terrifying mysteries: the Beast of Gévaudan. From 1764 to 1767, a mysterious creature terrorized the French countryside, killing as many as 100 to 300 victims. It attacked children, farmers, and anyone in its path, ripping throats and devouring its prey. Hunting parties, the King's own gunbearers, and even brave kids and a young woman armed with a homemade spear all tried to stop it. But what was the Beast? A wolf? A lion? A werewolf? Or was there a human killer behind it all?
