Today we are going to be taking a look at the Desiree Sunford murder that took place in Yakima Washington in the early morning hours of April 7th 2013. 30 year old Desiree, who worked as an art teacher at Wapato Middle School, was shot 9 times in her home that morning in what appeared to be a burglary.
Detectives were not able to solve this case, and it went cold for about a year. Then, in July of 2014, a tip came in through Crimestoppers that blew the case wide open.
This is a story of a love triangle that turned deadly... Scott Sunford, the husband of the victim Desiree Sunford was having an affair with Paige Blades… Well, Desiree was ALSO having an affair with Paige... But the plot thickens... Marty Grismer who was also married with a child, was in LOVE with Paige Blades… Paige was certainly the center of attention in this circle of friends.
Well that anonymous tip, that tip came from Paige Blades and she named Marty Grismer as the killer!
