July 11th, 2019... Fountain Hills Arizona, a town just a few miles outside of Phoenix. Police are called on an apparent shooting in the parking lot behind Bruno's Bar. Detained at the scene is 25 year old Christopher Ruether. The victim of the shooting is 28 year old Matthew Gilmore... He would not survive...
After being questioned in the parking lot, Ruether is then transported to the police station and questioned about the events that occurred that night.

On July 13th, 2023, Christopher Ruether was sentenced to 8 years for Manslaughter and is being housed at a private facility in Arizona. He is scheduled to be released in March of 2030.
