On January 22, 2022 at around 330am, in the small town of Taylors, South Carolina, about 20 minutes outside of Greenville, deputies are dispatched to a gunshot victim at the Cliffwood Terrace Apartments on Edwards Road.
The victim, 27-year-old Joseph Smith was found shot twice in his apartment in an apparent home invasion, he was pronounced on the scene...
It would take investigators until May of 2022 to make arrests for the murder.
22-year-old Tyberious Pyles, 19-year-old Dream Adams and a 15-year-old suspect.
This is the interrogation of Tyberious Pyles, the main suspect in this case. Stay with us after the interrogation for the most up to date information.
Tyberious Pyles was convicted of murder, first-degree burglary, armed robbery, and conspiracy on September 4, 2025. He was sentenced to 40 years in prison.
Court records indicate that the case against Dream Adams is still pending. We will certainly keep you updated on that when new information arises.
