Tenon initially confessed to his alleged role in the murder plot, telling prosecutors that he was hired by Bridegan’s ex-wife, Shanna Gardner, and her husband, Mario Fernandez Saldana, to kill Bridegan. However, Tenon later announced at a hearing that he had given “false testimony” in sworn statements against the other defendants and wished to change his story.
