19:54Now PlayingOpening statements began Monday in the murder trial of Lindsay Clancy, who is accused of killing her three young children inside the family’s Massachusetts home in January 2023 before attempting to take her own life. Prosecutors allege Clancy intentionally killed Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, using exercise bands. The Commonwealth argued Clancy acted “intentionally, rationally, and swiftly,” while also alleging she later told medical providers that voices instructed her to kill her children so she could kill herself—and that the voices stopped after the killings. Clancy has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
