35:13Now PlayingThe prosecution delivered its opening statement Monday in the murder trial of Duane “Keffe D” Davis, nearly 30 years after Tupac Shakur was fatally shot in Las Vegas. Davis is accused of orchestrating the 1996 killing of the hip-hop icon. Prosecutors allege the shooting was retaliation after Davis’s nephew, Orlando Anderson, was beaten by Tupac and his entourage at the MGM Grand following the Mike Tyson fight. The state laid out the events leading from that confrontation to the drive-by shooting that left Tupac fatally wounded.
