That changed in 2023, when Las Vegas investigators arrested Duane “Keffe D” Davis, accusing him of orchestrating the rapper’s murder and supplying the gun used in the shooting. Tupac had been riding in the passenger seat of a BMW driven by Suge Knight after a confrontation at the MGM Grand following Mike Tyson and Bruce Seldon’s boxing match when, just a block from the Las Vegas Strip, a Cadillac pulled alongside them and opened fire, striking Tupac multiple times.
