- #DonnaAdelson, once the matriarch of a prominent Florida family, is set to face trial on September 17 for her alleged role in the decade-long saga of FSU law professor #DanMarkel’s murder. As the latest in a series of defendants to stand trial for the 2014 murder, her trial will likely be pivotal in this case.
- #BryanKohberger, charged with the horrific stabbing deaths of four Idaho college students, will now face trial 300 miles away from where the crimes took place. After defense attorneys argued that intense media coverage tainted the small community of Moscow, #JudgeJohnJudge granted their request to move the trial.
Additionally, I briefly cover other cases that made headlines this week, including a life sentence for former TikTok star Ali #JinnKid Abulaban, Colorado dentist #JamesCraig back in court to face charges of trying to cover up the alleged murder of his wife, and new charges against former movie mogul #HarveyWeinstein. Plus, I give a quick rundown of what’s on the docket for next week.
