- A jury has been seated in the trial of Indiana man #RichardAllen, charged with the 2017 murders of #Delphi teens Abby Williams and Libby German. As opening statements near, last-minute legal maneuvers unfolded this week.
- Jury selection for Florida woman #SarahBoone also began this week as her attorneys revealed a sneak preview of what their defense will be when trial kicks off in the next few days. Boone stands accused of second-degree murder in the death of her boyfriend, Jorge Torres. Torres was found dead inside a suitcase inside their Winter Park home in 2020.
I also touch on several other high-profile cases making headlines this week: the murder trial of #MelodyFarris, accused of killing her husband and burning his body; a press conference from the #Menendezbrothers' family and attorney #MarkGeragos; the trial of #LeilaniSimon, accused of killing her toddler after his remains were found in a landfill; sentencing for former politician #RobertTelles; the latest in Sean #Diddy Combs' legal battles; and #MorganGeyser, who is asking for release from a psychiatric hospital after stabbing a classmate more than a decade ago in the infamous 'Slender Man' case.
