Jennifer Gledhill is a 42-year-old Utah woman charged with the murder of her husband, Matthew Johnson, a Utah National Guardsman, in September 2024. She allegedly shot him in the head while he slept in their Cottonwood Heights home after he confronted her about an extramarital affair.
Gledhill is accused of disposing of his body in a shallow grave, though it has not been found. She pleaded not guilty in February 2025 and faces multiple felony charges, including first-degree murder and obstruction of justice. Her parents, Thomas and Rosalie Gledhill, were also arrested for allegedly helping her cover up the crime. She remains in jail without bail, with her next court appearance scheduled for mid-March 2025.
