Tonight on Courtroom Confidential, criminal defense attorney and former prosecutor Joshua Ritter breaks down the Lindsay Clancy case with five things you need to know before her murder trial begins Monday with jury selection.

Clancy is accused of killing her three young children, Cora, Dawson and Callan, inside the family’s Duxbury, Massachusetts, home in January 2023. She has pleaded not guilty and is expected to argue that she was not criminally responsible because she was suffering from postpartum psychosis. Prosecutors contend her actions were planned and deliberate.

Tonight, Josh explains the charges Clancy still faces, the prosecution’s theory, how the insanity defense works in Massachusetts, the key evidence and witnesses jurors may hear, and the central questions the jury will ultimately have to decide.
