Some people may assume that simply because Frank is a Christian that he believes the US government should base its laws on religious ideas. While he co-wrote ‘Legislating Morality’, a book on the subject, it is not about legislating a government-sanctioned Church. We can legislate morality without obstructing religious freedom. Here, Frank explains why he thinks Thomas Jefferson had the right idea regarding our laws while respecting religious freedom.
