Over the next few weeks, C‑SPAN will air a selection of these interviews. We'll hear first from Egil ``Bud'' Krogh who served as Deputy Counsel to the President and as Deputy Assistant to the President for Domestic Affairs between 1969 and 1974. This is an excerpt from a longer conversation and begins with Krogh explaining why he offered an apology to former President Nixon.
