Preview Clip of a 30 minute program: American History TV visited the Treasury building and its historic offices to learn about a long term restoration project.

In this first of a two part program, Treasury Department curator Richard Cote leads us through the Cash room, the Salmon Chase suite, and the President Andrew Johnson suite. The Greek revival building housing the United States Department of the Treasury was built between 1836 and 1869 and is located beside the White House at 1500 Pennsylvania Avenue.
