6:15Now PlayingVisit Salt Lake City's Main Public Library. Opening in February 2003, the building was designed by internationally-acclaimed architect Moshe Safdie with the idea that a library is more than a repository for books. With 240,000 square feet of space and over 500,000 books, the library also has features that include a public plaza with shops and services, a six story walkable wall, a rooftop garden, and panoramic views of Salt Lake City's skyline from almost anywhere in the building.
