He discusses LBJ's reaction to the Tet Offensive, the reasons behind the president's decision not to seek re-election, his attempts to forge a peace agreement with the North Vietnamese, and the role the war played in that year's presidential election. In July, 2018, Kyle Longley was named director of the LBJ Presidential Library in Austin, Texas.
