FULL PROGRAM On September 26, 1918, the U.S. Army in France launched the MeuseArgonne offensive, the largest battle in American history with over one million troops engaged. The 47day battle culminated in the November 11, 1918 armistice that ended World War I. We traveled to northeastern France with historian Mitchell Yockelson and French battlefield guide Guillaume Moizan to tour several battle locations.
