Nearly 3,000 middle and high school students from across the United States considered this question for C-SPAN's annual documentary competition StudentCam, responding with issues such as health care, the environment, education, the economy, and gun violence & firearm policy.
In the 19th annual edition of the contest, which awards $100,000 to winning students and advisers, the top winners addressed data privacy, Chinese Communist Party ownership of U.S. land, death care, inflation, and the opioid epidemic. In this episode, we'll feature each of our Grand Prize and 1st Prize winners, highlighting how these passionate young people masterfully showcased the fruits of active learning.
