In Washington, the U.S. House passes another of the 12 annual spending bills – this one funding the department of interior, EPA and other agencies -- but the chances of all 12 passing the House and Senate and being signed into law by the time temporary government funding runs out November 17th are slim. We will hear from the House Speaker and Minority Leader on plans to avoid a government shutdown.
President Joe Biden travels to Lewiston, Maine, site of last week's deadly mass shooting, to meet with victims' families and first responders, and again call for stricter gun control.
Labor Department out with the October jobs report: 150,000 jobs created and unemployment rate goes up from 3.8 percent to 3.9 percent.
