Attorney General Merrick Garland and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen announce enforcement actions taken against Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world.

Garland: "The Justice Department has secured felony guilty pleas from the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance...The Justice Department is requiring Binance to pay $4.3 billion in penalties and forfeitures…Using new technology to break the law does not make you a disruptor, it make you a criminal.

Yellen: "We have taken the largest enforcement action in Treasury's history."
