Washington Today (3-29-24): Fed Chair says inflation report means no 'hurry' to cut interest rates

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell says today's inflation report is "pretty much in line with our expectation", but the Fed is looking for more good reports before deciding whether to cut interest rates.

Gov. Wes Moore (D-MD) urges the state legislature to prioritize passing the state budget and bill that will help those affected by the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge to “provide certainty at this challenging and uncertain time.”
