Former Trump White House senior adviser Steve Bannon reports to a federal prison in Connecticut to begin serving a four-month prison sentence for contempt of Congress for not responding to a subpoena from the January 6 committee for testimony and records. He told reporters and supporters before going in that he is "proud to go to prison… if this is what it takes to stand up to tyranny" and called himself a "political prisoner".
