It is the first day of the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah. Amos Hochstein, U.S Special Envoy to the Middle East is asked whether it can last.

President-elect Donald Trump names Gen. Keith Kellogg (Ret) as his Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia. Gen. Kellogg has reportedly proposed a plan to end the war in Ukraine that includes freezing the frontlines.

Several Donald Trump Cabinet nominees are targeted with bomb threats and swatting. FBI says it is investigating.

Vice President Kamala Harris tells Democratic party activists and donors that despite her not winning the presidential election, the fight for their values and priorities continues.

Incoming Senate Appropriations Committee chair Susan Collins (R-ME) talks about preventing a government shutdown in December and spending & tax priorities next year when the Senate, House and White House will be Republican controlled.

It looks like there will not be a five-year Farm Bill reauthorization by the end of this year and instead an extension of current programs for a year, due to disagreements between the House and Senate versions.
