YouTube Description
as posted by the channelRepublican Clay Fuller was sworn into the House on Tuesday night, giving Republicans a little more cushion as they navigate an ultra-thin majority.
He won a special election last week to fill the seat vacated by former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) in Georgia’s 14th District, defeating Democrat Shawn Harris by 12 percentage points — a notable drop from President Trump’s 37-point victory in the district in 2024.
There are now 431 members in the House: 217 Republicans, 213 Democrats and one independent who caucuses with Republicans.
There are four vacancies, including the seats of former Reps. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and Tony Gonzales (R-TX), both of whom resigned from the House Tuesday amid sexual misconduct allegations.
