People have heard of "The Hard Rock Cafe" and the "House of Blues" but many people were unaware that the founder of these businesses was Isaac Tigrett a devotee of Sai Baba- one of the most famous gurus in India, and one with the most despicable track records. He allegedly did sleight of hand techniques to "manifest" objects and has been accused of raping countless numbers of young boys. Premanand trained countless people to do magic tricks and these folks traveled to remote villagers to debunk gurus, shamans and others who would prey on people's gullibility and superstitions. His life was threatened countless times and was harassed, but refused to stop speaking the truth.
He unfortunately succumbed to cancer and the world lost a truly great person. I will always remember him replicating some of the gurus's "powers" by doing magic tricks and the delight he took in opening people's minds to the power of science and logic.
