Steve was asked to speak about why a trauma-based approach is not equipped to help victims of trafficking. Steve applies his 37 years of knowledge and experience working with victims of cult mind control and believes that trafficking victims should be looked at as victims of a commercial cult. He touches on the the Dual identity, The BITE model of mind control as applied to trafficking victims, loaded language of traffickers, like, "in the life," "trick," "John" needs to be renamed with words more descriptive of what the words really mean, such as " in the life of a slave or exploitation victim," "sex for money," "sexual abuser" (especially with minor boys and girls).
