1:20:20Now PlayingThis video is of Steven Hassan giving a speech on the Freedom of Mind Approach to Helping Individuals born in High-Demand Groups at the 2015 ICSA Annual Conference in Stockholm, Sweden. It begins with comments about the talk given just before by Stephen Parsons on shunning and disfelllowshipping/ excommunication....
Steve had just flown to Stockholm from Toronto and doing the Getting Clear conference on Scientology (gettingclear.co) and did a presentation with Jon Atack, Christian Szurko and Chris Shelton about mind control in Scientology and specific hypnotic patterns used in the TRs and other Hubbard "tech". Those videos will be made available online shortly.
Steve has just released a dramatically updated edition of Combating Cult Mind Control which includes describing those who were raised in cults and still carry with them the trauma and other negative emotional and psychological patterns. This video is a must see for all therapists and is especially helpful for people who were raised in a high demand group.
Steve's private practice includes doing intensive short-term therapy with SGA's (Second Generation Adults) which is 24 hours, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (Wednesday off for rest and digestion of material, as well as sightseeing in Boston). His schedule is extremely limited and he can only book a maximum of two clients per month, when possible. If you are interested in working individually with Steve Hassan, please fill out the appropriate form on the freedom of mind.com website and contact the office.
