Together, they explore the realities of being raised in a high-control, authoritarian cult environment, including systemic child abuse, lack of medical care, exploitation, and the long-term psychological consequences for survivors. Maria shares how her work with support groups and advocacy aids cult survivors, including helping cult victims pursue justice and speaking before government inquiries into cults.
