Just dropping in to say that I will be joining you back behind the mic a little later than expected this week thanks to testing positive for the 'rona. The doc said it was likely the Xi/omnicron variant. The whole family has it. We're all doing fine and recovering nicely. We were prescribed the standard azithromycin plus ivermectin -- and despite the shrieking from CNNMSNBCEFG outlets, none of us have turned into horses. It's prescribed to help alleviate symptoms, nothing more.
Honestly, I'd rather have this than the flu.
The worst of it was the aches, namely headaches, and fatigue. I've had bad colds, I've had pneumonia, mono, and this, in my experience, ha the fatigue of mono with the aches of a bad cold (hopefully that makes sense). I'd still prefer it over the flu. I'll discuss this more, plus the insane way therapeutics are regulated, when I'm back on air.
I'm resting up, binging old episodes of Top Gear, and moving around some guests with Kane. I'm chomping at the bit to get back with you all, a person can only "vacation" and "rest" for so long before they go bonkers.
