As Turkey is closing waterways to Russian ships, China is still going to get a TON of energy from Russia (as is the U.S.) so, the ‘sanctions’ put on by Biden and western countries are essentially worthless. It’s sad that Turkey is doing more than the Biden Administration as it relates to Ukraine and hitting Putin where it hurts.
We need to unleash domestic production of oil and gas in the United States (as WE WERE just over a year ago), cut off any dependence on Russia’s energy, and end Russia’s ability to hold our country - or any country - hostage in relation to energy.
Stephen Yates also talks about the other global implications as it relates to China v Taiwan. Yates’ ‘straight, no chaser’ expertise is refreshing and we appreciate his perspective on these global issues!
