After the news of Gorbachev’s death yesterday (age 91), the media started to rewrite history by uplifting his legacy, and propping up this communist, who at best only changed to ‘communism light’. Matt talks about the truths in history and the perspective that the media seems to ignore. (Moldova, Georgia and other countries would disagree with the media’s fawning over Gorbachev.)
