DEMS RAIDING MEDICARE: Phil Kerpen On Democrats Robbing Medicare To Pay for Obamacare

Dana (@DLoesch/@DanaLoeschRadio) is joined by Phil Kerpen (@kerpen), President of American Commitment (@AmerComm) and President of The Committee to Unleash Prosperity (@Comm4Prosperity), on the Democrats proposal to raid Medicare’s Prescription spending in order to pay for Obamacare.

Since the issuance of Obamacare, we’ve spent BILLIONS yet have very little to show for it. Originally the messaging on Obamacare was ‘If you want to keep your doctor, you can’ and ‘if you want to keep your current plan, you can’ - that proved untrue, as the elimination of competition drove up healthcare costs and insurance costs.

Here’s an excerpt: “Imposing price controls to siphon hundreds of billions of dollars out of Medicare prescription drug spending will clearly result in fewer new cures and treatments available to seniors. An analysis of an earlier version of the Democratic price control plan by University of Chicago researchers found that it would lead to between 167 and 324 fewer drugs being developed over the next two decades”

Essentially we will have a lot less in the realm of R&D, for cancer and other diseases - while the Democrats rob Peter to pay Paul - and the media will certainly run cover for them.
