YouTube Description
as posted by the channelDana (@DLoesch/@DanaLoeschRadio) is joined by Montana’s GovernorGreg Gianforte (@GovGianforte) on his letter to Merrick Garland, pushing back on the ATF’s effort in turning millions of law abiding citizens into criminals with their latest pistol brace rule. Here is his letter
The ATF decided to create a new rule (not law) that pistol bracing - used by millions of disabled veterans and others - will automatically classify that firearm as an SBR (Short Barreled Rifle) - and only giving 120 days to get people to ‘register’ their firearm as an SBR, and if they don’t, it automatically makes them a criminal.
The Fifth circuit ruled in Michael Cargill’s case that the ATF does not have the legislative authority to create law so they ruled AGAINST the ATF here is Gun Owners of America’s Erich Pratt on that subject just a few weeks ago
We appreciate Governors and other political leaders fighting back on these unconstitutional rules - and will keep you informed on all of the overreach our government loves to implement.
