So, Biden has been absent for these negotiations (maybe taking naps), and Democrats are so used to getting their way, they can’t help but contradict themselves.
This is back in 2011, Biden was not a fan of “My way or the highway” as it relates to debt limit talks:
Spending is, and always will be America’s problem with debt - and until we reign in this runaway spending every freaking year, this will not end well.
