as posted by the channelWhile the majority of pro-Trump supporters decried the guilty verdict on 30 May as a travesty of justice and anti-Trumpers hailed it as "no one is above the law," there is another side to this terrible situation neither side noticed: we will *all* pay a price if we don't collectively recognize the true dangers.
The truth is, our ship is sinking under our feet and unless we acknowledge we're ALL in trouble, we're going to go down together. This isn't a case where one side can win and the other lose. Left unchecked, we could see this situation slide into dangerous, violent territory that could harm us all. Its akin to the first class passengers on the Titanic in 1912 fighting with the second class passengers as the vessel sank beneath them - instead of recognizing the mutual danger to them both and working together.
We must likewise recognize that without remedial action and a change of attitudes from both camps, the chances are high we could all sink together.
