Danny warns that the Trump administration appears to be preparing for imminent military action against Venezuela. He says the closure of airspace and the presence of B-2 bomber rehearsals suggest the U.S. is “clearing the decks” for possible strikes. While the Pentagon is likely conducting rehearsals, simulations, and wargames, he argues there is no clear objective, no legal justification, and no exit strategy for such an operation.

He criticizes attempts to frame Venezuela as a direct threat to the U.S., calling the “narco-terrorist” justification extremely weak and legally meaningless under the War Powers Act. He emphasizes that regime change cannot be justified simply because the U.S. dislikes Maduro.

The Colonel warns that a Venezuelan invasion would be far from the “cakewalk” some politicians claim. Venezuela’s terrain is ideal for guerrilla warfare, and the U.S. has very few ground troops in the region—enough to bomb targets but not to occupy or control a country. He argues this could quickly devolve into another Afghanistan-style insurgency that the U.S. cannot win.

He further criticizes members of Congress openly admitting the operation is about securing Venezuela’s oil fields, calling it a blatant power play that damages America’s global reputation. He says intervening over disputed elections is hypocritical, pointing out that the U.S. would reject such interference in its own elections.

The Colonel also warns that hawks around Trump appear to be pushing not just for action in Venezuela but further expansions into Colombia and Cuba—an idea he calls reckless and dangerous.

His core message: there is no moral, legal, or strategic basis for this war, the risks are enormous, the benefits non-existent, and it could lead to a prolonged, deadly, and unwinnable conflict.
