Miracles - 3 Blind Siblings

In October 2008, an astounding miracle occurred in the town of Nsukka in Southern Nigeria. Regina Attah approached God with simple, childlike faith, and experienced something we had never seen

before.

Years earlier, Regina’s oldest child, Umeka, mysteriously lost her eyesight.Then the sight of her second child, Chinwendu, began to fail. Her teacher noticed her struggling to take notes at school and constantly rubbing her eyes. Eventually, she also went totally blind.

Finally, her youngest child, Chukwudi, started to lose his eyesight until he, too, was completely blind. It was an inexplicable, horrible course of events. Regina was devastated. She had to stand by and watch all three of her children, one after the other, go blind – while she could do nothing about it.

Then Regina learned that a CfaN Great Gospel Campaign was coming to a town close to her. She heard about all the healings and miracles that took place at these meetings. It felt like God’s gift just for her! So on the first night of the Campaign, there was Regina with her three children – a little family among a crowd of several hundred thousand people – ready to receive their heart’s desire from God.

By this time, Umeka, aged twelve, had already been blind for eight years. Chinwendu, ten years old, had been blind for two years, and their seven-year-old brother, Chukwudi, had been blind for one year. Surrounded by the massive crowd, Regina cried out to God for a miracle for her children.When Reinhard Bonnke and Daniel Kolenda started to pray for healing that night, they called out specific sicknesses. At one point, Reinhard boomed into the microphone, “Blind eyes, open, in Jesus’ Name!” Something immediately happened to the children, but Regina did not notice until the next day. “I saw my oldest daughter go outside and then come back through the door without any help. Then, at the Fire Conference, I asked the

other two if they could read the Scriptures, and they could!”

Seven-year-old Chukwudi marvels at the sights from the car window,

amazed at the ability to see for the first time in a year. In my entire ministry, I have never seen anything like this. It happened ‘in the twinkling of an eye,’ so to speak. When I prayed for blind eyes to open in the Name of Jesus, all three children received perfect sight at the

same moment! It is almost unbelievable, but my team checked

out the details with great care. We followed up this story – the

miracle is absolutely true. To God be the glory!”
