Doctors told young Desi that the fracture in his hip would not heal

without surgery. He needed a metal plate to reinforce the bones and

make the hip function. But he could not afford the surgery. He had

to live with agonizing pain.

While walking to school one day, I noticed a small pain in my hip. It increased for days until it became so severe, I had to use crutches to get around. The doctor discovered a fracture in my hip. He told me not to put any weight on it, or the crack would get worse. I could not lean on my leg, lift it or bend it. It was very painful. Then I noticed that my hip was starting to come out. So I could only use one leg with my crutches. During one five-day period, I could not stand up at all. I had to stay in bed even to go to the bathroom. My hip felt like someone was hammering a nail into it, and my femur (thighbone) felt like it was burning.

My hip felt like someone was hammering a nail into it, and my femur (thighbone) felt like it was burning. Doctors also told me I needed surgery to fix my hip. It would cost around 2,000 US dollars. The government had been helping with some of my medical expenses. But they determined my surgery would cost too much for them to assist. I became very discouraged and withdrawn. But the Lord reminded me that He was able to heal me. So I attended the CfaN Campaign with hope.

During prayer for the sick, the preacher told us to lift our hands – the Holy Spirit was about to visit us. I was standing up with my eyes closed, lifting my hands and praying. I expected my miracle. Suddenly I felt a cold wind enter my hip. The bones inside my leg cooled down, and I felt the dislocated bone snap back into its place. Then the preacher told us to do something we could not do before. So I tried to bend forward – and I could! Then I tried to turn using my hip – and I could do that, too! So then I just started running around everywhere. All pain and restrictions were gone. I was healed.

The healing made me so happy that I woke up that night after only four hours of sleep and just kept rejoicing. I simply could not sleep; my heart was overflowing with joy and peace. I am elated and full of gratitude to the Lord for my healing. Jesus did the remaining thing.
