5:37Now PlayingI'd like to share this video with you of a song I wrote called, "A Father's Love." Since this is Father's Day week, I figured we'd still be in a place of reflection on the importance on the importance of a father's love.
I wrote this song about 10 years ago for my brother in law, CE Spaulding, who I've watched guide my nieces and nephews through the highs and lows of life with such grace and care, without an example in his own life of, "what a father's love was always meant to do." I wanted this song to be a tribute to him, and all the fathers who guide their children, day by day, with help from their spiritual Father.
A very talented violinist and arranger, Melanie Joy Alvey, arranged this song for her group, Avila Soul, and had me come in to sing vocals on it. I love the result she got. Find her at www.melaniejoymusic.com.
Please enjoy this belated Father's Day gift.
