YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe PR game never seems to end where political labels are concerned. It's in the best interest of conservatives to make reference to the fact that originally, Democrats were the "very, very bad racists" and not the Republicans. The truth is, most white folks were racist before the advent of the Civil Rights movement. One group fought to preserve slavery, though, and it wasn't the progressives. Party switch denial is nothing new, but the messaging of conservative groups has shifted in recent years.
More frequently, they seem to be using Black mouthpieces to get out their spin on why they shouldn't be thought of as the natural successors to those who attempted to secede the Union over Negro slavery. We delve into this topic today, and end the show with a discussion of my new album & two upcoming shows.
