👨 Meet John Crowder:
John and Lily Crowder have a passion to spread the exuberant love and joy of the supernatural gospel of Jesus Christ. John is an internationally recognized author, speaker, and advocate of mystical Christianity, with the ministry marked by creative miracles and unusual signs and wonders. They are on the forefront of a fresh renewal movement characterized by ecstatic joy and a recovery of the foundational preaching of the cross of grace. Their heart is to see the church and the world infused with its identity in Christ and a revelation of our union with Him.
John and Lily host evangelism crusades, plant children's homes for orphans and hold numerous outreaches to the poor. Along with their bi-annual magazine, The Ecstatic, John has also written five books - Cosmos Reborn, Mystical Union, Seven Spirits Burning, The Ecstasy of Loving God, and The New Mystics.
The Crowders long to release a creative new movement of ecstatic believers, who are enthralled by the finished works of Christ and who demonstrate miraculous lifestyles. Their heart is to see the Kingdom of God fully revealed in every sector of society. John has a vision to equip our generation with effective spiritual tools, including signs, wonders, miracles and prophetic giftings -- all centered in the revelation of Christ crucified. John is also known for his grace-based theological teaching that spans many previously uncrossed streams -- Reformed, Charismatic, Trinitarian and drawing also from church history, the Patristics and numerous Catholic and Orthodox mystics. The ministry is known both for in-depth teaching, and its wild, celebratory feast!
Traveling to more than 30 countries and on the road almost half the year, the Crowders balance their time with their four children. They have also planted a church in California, served as a long-term missionaries in Alaska, and John has five years experience in secular journalism.
Sons of Thunder Ministries and Publications carries a vision for revival and longs to see the Glory of God known in the land of the living. The ministry carries a mandate to engage the church in deeper realms of intimacy with Christ, and to reconnect the mystical body of Christ to its foundational message of grace and its supernatural roots.
