A New York Supreme Court judge has nixed the portion-control regulation that was set to go into effect this week which would have stopped New Yorkers from being able to buy sodas and sugary drinks above16-ounces.
Bloombergs office tweeted in response: "We plan to appeal the sugary drinks decision as soon as possible, and we are confident the measure will ultimately be upheld."
Should the government be allowed to tell you what you can and cannot eat?
