A new study has revealed exactly how much more interested the world is in Miley Cyrus and her twerking at the VMA's than in the crisis in Syria, at least when it comes to the internet. (See Miley Cyrus twerking at the VMA's in the video.)

In the three days surrounding Miley Cyrus's VMA performance and the Obama administration signaling its willingness to bomb Syria, there were about 8,000 stories about Miley and about 20,000 stories about Syria. The day after the VMAs, Miley Cyrus stories accounted for 12% of total U.S. page views, while Syria stories accounted for 1%.

Watch the video to find out how much other countries are interested in Miley Cyrus versus Syria.
