This is a necessary step in order to finally purge the neoliberals so we can fight the growing fascist elements on the other side. We need to save the left from extinction inside the party, and there is no room for both neoliberals and genuine populists in the same tent.
If we want to save our democracy then Democrats must fight a civil war and decide if they want to be real populists, or Wall Street flunkies. This is a hard battle, but if Democrats don't become real populists the faux populism in the Republican party will give rise to REAL fascism. I implore you to watch this video and consider supporting the left in this fight – it's the only way Democrats can win!
