His research focuses on race, class, and incarceration in the United States and once a week he teaches a course on 'U.S. political economy' at San Quentin State Prison. Christopher is also a columnist for Russia Today and a featured blogger at Nation of Change. Christopher joins David to discuss the disproportionate incarceration of black people in the U.S. in private prisons.
