David Starkey INTERROGATED by audience as he charts decline of Britain | David Starkey Talks

This week I gave a lecture on THE STARKEY THESIS of how Britain has been crippled by the Blairite reforms introduced under New Labour. A particularly engaged audience in Witney near Oxford got stuck into questioning me on everything I've been saying for the last year, including on some of my criticisms of Margaret Thatcher and Roger Scruton, my interpretation of the role of religion in British society, and why there's no point in talking about what comes after the next government until we resolve to undo everything that Labour has done since 1997.

The whole conversation was incredibly stimulating and I couldn't think of a better way of elucidating some of my ideas than simply posting it on my channel.
